
Internships
Through Swedemom Center of Giving's partnership with MEDP's McMinnville WORKS Internship Program, we create an opportunity for students to share their knowledge with others, while also gaining new skills and experience. The students' knowledge and skills create new and innovative ideas that can be put to use to make MacHub stronger.
Students can be involved in the intake process where items are sorted, imaged, described, final checked, put away, sold, packaged, and shipped. Previous interns have also contributed to maintaining social media accounts and created marketing campaigns and organized fundraising events.

Learn More About Our 2022 Interns
Rayna just graduated from Linfield University with a degree in Business Information Systems and is currently interning Swedemom as their administrative assistant. This position has her wearing a lot of hats, as her role includes marketing, managing interns, administrative work and collaborating with software developers for Swedemom’s online store.
Justin will be a Senior at Oregon State University with a major in Computer Science. Justin’s knack for computer science began in high school when he joined different tech clubs and around his household as his dad was a computer circuit designer. Justin began his professional career for the U.S Army in the Department of Defense working in computer tech and served a tour in Afghanistan where he was part of a special unit called Civil Affairs.
Kendall will be a Senior Linfield University with a major in Marketing and double minor in French and Journalism and Media Studies (JAMS). This summer she is excited for the opportunity to intern at Swedemom in their Mac Hub (Nonprofit fundraising channel) division, where she assists behind the scenes with merchandising productions as well as overseeing social media strategy.
